Gallatin, NY - Zachary S. Hawver, 16, passed away from cystic fibrosis on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.

He was born in Rhinebeck, NY on May 28, 1994 the son of Scott A. and Pamela J. (Deitch) Hawver Sr. of Gallatin.

Zachary was a student in the Tenth Grade at Stissing Mountain High School in Pine Plains, NY.

He was an avid football fan, loved to play kickball, and enjoyed playing with magic cards, but most of all he loved to make people laugh.

In addition to his loving parents survivors include his maternal grandmother, Janet Deitch of Ancramdale, NY; paternal grandmother, Barbara Hawver of Ancram, NY; four brothers, Terence Deitch of Brooklyn, NY; Jonathan Bellows of Ancramdale, NY; Scott A. Hawver Jr. of Gallatin, NY; Dustin Hawver of Gallatin, NY; three sisters, Kelly Mulstay of Saugerties, NY; Glenda Hawver of Troy, NY; Elizabeth Hawver of Gallatin, NY; four aunts, Lori Robbins, Karen Smith, Amanda McCagg, Angela Parsons; six uncles, Gregg Deitch, Gary Deitch, Douglas Deitch, Keith "Peanut" Hawver Jr. Perry Hawver, Kevin Hawver; nephew, Rylie Horn and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his two grandfathers, Harold Deitch and Keith Hawver Sr.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, November 18, at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home South Main St. Pine Plains, NY 12567.

Funeral services and burial will held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Hudson Valley Chapter 832 South Broadway Tarrytown, NY 10591.
