Wilmer C. Mccauley Jr

Millerton, NY- Wilmer C."Sonny" McCauley Jr. 75, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT.

He was born on May 18, 1938 in Gallatin, NY the son of the late Wilmer C. and Marguerite (Butler) McCauley Sr.

Mr. McCauley Jr. was a dairy farmer and worked for the Frank Perotti farm.

On December 28, 1958 in Pine Plains, NY he married Patricia (Palmer) McCauley. She survives him at home.

In addition to his loving wife Patricia, survivors include two sons, Wilmer C. McCauley III of Millerton, NY; Ronald R. McCauley of Millerton, NY. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Christopher, Patricia, Amber, Zane and Ethan.

He was predeceased by a brother, Roger McCauley in 2007.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home 8063 Rte. 22, Copake, NY.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 12, at the funeral home with Rev. Henry Prause, officiating.

Interment will be in Copake Cemetery in the spring.
