William Warren Strang

Stanfordville, NY - William Warren Strang, 73, passed away at home on Sunday, February 21, 2010.

He was born on March 28, 1936 in Yorktown Heights, NY the son of the late Kathleen (Archer) Strang and Clark Strang, Sr.

Mr. Strang owned and operated the Strang Auto Body in Stanfordville since 1976.

He was an avid outdoorsman.

On December 6, 1958 in Biddeford, ME, he married Annette (Gobeil) Strang. She survives at home.

In addition to his loving wife, survivors include three sons, James Warren Strang of Lancaster, SC; Glenn Allen Strang of Poughkeepsie, NY; William Steven Strang of Stanfordville, NY; a daughter, Debra Ann Cook of Middletown, NY; two brothers, Clark Strang, Jr. of Shrub Oak, NY; Lloyd Strang of Macedon, NY; a sister, Betty Lawlor of Wingdale, NY, as well as nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by three brothers.

Calling hours are 2 to 5 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home South Main St. Pine Plains, NY.

Funeral services are 5 pm on Saturday, February 27, from the funeral home with Rev. Carol Miller officiating.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
