William H. Young Iii

Taghkanic, NY - William H. "Billy" Young III, 52, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY.

He was born in Hudson, NY on November 27, 1957 the son of Elizabeth Betty (Remy) Young of Taghkanic and the late William H. Young Jr.

He was owner and operator of the William H. Young and Son Dairy Farm.

He was an Honorary member of the West Taghkanic Fire Company, an avid Yankee fan and loved John Deere and Massey Ferguson Tractors.

In addition to his loving mother survivors include his three sisters, Barbara Gaylord and her husband, Ron of Greenport, NY; Carolyn Sammons and her husband Kent of Taghkanic, NY; Beverly Rochler and her husband, Bob of Taghkanic, NY; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, November 28, at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home 8063 Rte 22 Copake, NY.

Funeral service will be at 11 am Monday, November 29, from the funeral home with Rev. Bernice West officiating.

Interment will follow in the West Taghkanic Cemetery.
