William J. Grube, 61, of Main Street in Philmont, New York passed peacefully and went home to the Lord and his parents on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospial.
He was born on February 22, 1949 in Gt. Barrington, MA, the son of the late William C. and Mary M. (McKinney) Grube.
William was previously employed by the New York State Department of Parks and Recreation in the maintenance department. He was later employed by Dutchess County as a bus driver on the LOOP run.
He loved playing the organ at local churches and was an avid CB radio user. He also had a love for animals, especially dogs.
Survivors include a brother, Robert Grube of Philmont, NY, a sister, Mary Ann Graves of Millerton, NY, two neices and one nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a time to be announced at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Copake Falls, NY.
