Willet D. "William" Parliman

Pine Plains, NY - Willet D. "William" Parliman, 78, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Livingston Hills Nursing Home in Livingston, NY.

He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on August 28, 1935 the son of Willet H. and Julia (Dutcher) Parliman.

He served four years with the United States Air Force.

He was a Program Chairman for the Pine Plains Grange and Steward for the Stanford Grange.

Bill was a school bus driver for over twenty five years for the Arlington School District.

Survivors include a son, Vinnie Parliman of Pine Plains, NY; a sister, Judith Parliman and a brother, Gerald Parliman both of LaGrange, NY; two grandsons, Benjamin and Christopher.

He was predeceased by two wives, Gail in 1982 and Janet in 2010.

There are no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, May 24, at the Pine Plains United Methodist Church, 3023 Church St. Pine Plains, NY 12567 with Pastor Greg Higgins officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the Stanford Grange 6043 Rte. 82 Stanfordville, NY 12581.
