Willard F. Morey

Ancramdale, NY - Willard F. "Bull" Morey, 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA.

He was born on March 12, 1933 in Shekomeko, NY the son of the late Ernest and Mable (Finkle) Morey.

Mr. Morey was a motor operator for Kimberly Clark Corporation. He retired in 1995 after thirty five years of service.

A lifetime member and past 1st Asst. Chief and former Chief of the Ancram Fire Co. He was a fan of tractor pulling, and even pulled his favorite John Deere Tractor in the tractor pulls around the community. He was also an avid deer hunter.

On October 31, 1954 in Ancram, NY he married Imogene B. (Chamer) Morey. She survives him at home.

In addition to his loving wife Imogene, survivors include three sons, Keith and his wife Anna Morey of Ancramdale, NY; Scott Morey of Canaan, CT; Kyle Morey of Ancramdale, NY; two sisters, Marian Eckert of Canaan, CT, Dianne Slater of Ancramdale, NY; four grandchildren, Jessica Sorice, Bryan Morey, Cameron Morey, Candace Morey, two great grandchildren, Dustin Young and Darren Morey.

Mr. Morey was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Smith.

There are no calling hours.

Funeral services are 12 noon, on Friday, March 12, at the Faith Bible Chapel of Shekomeko, 222 Silver Mountain Rd. Millerton, NY 12546 with Rev. Bill Mayhew officiating.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
