Vivian C. Smith

Pine Plains, NY - Vivian C. Smith, 91, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT.

She was born in Red Cloud, NE on August 5, 1919 the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Carroll) Mudd.

Mrs. Smith was a receptionist at Greer School in Millbrook which is now the Fountains of Millbrook.

She enjoyed dining out with family and friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Vikki Soracco of Pine Plains, NY; a granddaughter, Torey Soracco of Pine Plains, NY; and a grandson, John D. Soracco Jr. of Pine Plains, NY.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Smith, a sister, Vera Esposito, grandson, Christopher M. Soracco and a son-in-law, John D. Soracco Sr.

The family will receive callers from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, October 17, at 34 Academy St. Pine Plains.

Funeral services and burial will all be at the convenience of the family.
