Tonya M. "Cookie" Elmendorf

Tonya M. "Cookie" Elmendorf, 45 of Hillsdale, NY passed away to eternal life on Tuesday October 6, 2015 at her residence.

She was born on April 8, 1970 in Sharon, CT a daughter of the late George and Cloey (Doyle) Elmendorf.

A graduate of Germantown High School, she was a hard worker and valued employee of Global Corporation, XTRA Mart in Martindale. Tonya was also a 4 H leader of the Columbia County Hoofers for over a decade.

She was a mother to her only child and love of her life, Amanda Elmendorf. Beloved sister and friend to Clinton, Kim (Espen), Dain (Kathy) and Cody (Denise). Devoted aunt to Ryan, Troy, Jesse, Logan, Dalton and David. She also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and Facebook friends.

Besides her parents she was pre deceased by a sister Darlene.

Lovingly called Cookie, she will be missed but never from our hearts. Heaven has received a new angel, fly Cookie and soar with your new wings!

Friends are invited and may call on Wednesday October 14, 2015 from 12 - 2 pm at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22 in Copake, NY.

A Service of Remembrance will follow at 2 pm with the Rev. Mary Langley of the Hillsdale United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be in the West Taghkanic Cemetery.
