Pine Plains - Thomas R. Killawee Jr., 54, died peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at his residence in Pine Plains surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on July 15, 1958 in Sharon, CT., the son of Thomas R. Killawee Sr. and the late Lucille (Silvernail) Killawee.
Thomas honorably served his country in the United States Army.
He loved to fish, watch Nascar and wrestling, and collected baseball cards. He was a huge Dale Earnhardt and Willie Nelson fan. He loved to tell jokes and was well loved by all.
Mr. Killawee is survived by a brother and best friend, Steven Killawee; a brother, Jeff Killawee; and three sisters, Debra Muhl, Kimberley Stewart and family, and Michelle Watson and her husband Tim. He is also survived by his father, Thomas R. Killawee Sr., his little buddy, Timmy Jr., son, Thomas Ryan Killawee Williams, best friend and cousin, Tim Parmalee, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his mother, Lucille Killawee and nephew Timothy Muhl.
A memorial service will be held from 2 to 6 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Pine Plains Hose Company.
