Theodore Thorpe Jr

Red Hook, NY - Theodore Thorpe Jr. 68, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at home.

He was born in Amenia, NY on September 26, 1944 the son of the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Snyder) Thorpe Sr.

Mr. Thorpe worked for Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY.

He was an avid deer hunter, and loved animals especially his dog Peanut.

Survivors include his wife, Susan (Egan) Thorpe of Rhinebeck, NY; two daughters, Bonnie Holmes of Rhinebeck, NY; Lori Trojan of Pine Plains, NY; a son, David Holmes of Kingston, NY; his mother-in-law, Muriel Egan of Rhinebeck, NY; three grandchildren, Amanda, Kyla and Austin; two brothers, James and Charles Thorpe and a sister, Maryanna Flint.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, December 11, 2012 at the Irondale Cemetery in Millerton, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the Ulster County SPCA 20 Wiedy Rd. Kingston, NY 12401.
