Susan Mills Feenstra

Susan Mills Feenstra of Hillsdale, NY died on August 4, 2011 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Until the end she confronted her illness with courage and the determination to live.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Feenstra, by family in the United States and Europe and by numerous friends.

Prior to her retirement she was Chief Financial Officer at the United Nations, New York. She was admired by her colleagues and was an ardent believer in the quest for world peace.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Roeliff Jansen Community Library, Doctors without Borders and the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires.

Arrangements are with the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Copake NY.
