Shirley M. Camburn

Stanfordville - Shirley M. Camburn, 82, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck.

Shirley was a lifelong resident of Pine Plains and Stanfordville. She was an active member of the Pine Plains Fire Company Auxiliary and was a bus driver for the Pine Plains School District for 24 years.

Born October 5, 1932 in Pine Plains, she was the daughter of Harmon and Marie (Shook) Johnson.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband Rossman M. Camburn on October 16, 1972; by two sisters, Winiferd Roberts and Marion Harrison; and three brothers Ralph, Jacob and Eben Johnson.

Survivors include two daughters, Sueann Camburn of Stanfordville and Trudy (James) Brown of Pine Plains; two sons Rossman M. Camburn, Jr. of Stanfordville and Steven (Jane) Camburn of Pine Plains; Grandchildren, Steven, Amanda, James, Mindy, Jessica, Reniae, Rossman, Crystal, Keith, Ryan, Marc and Laurann; 21 great grandchildren, including Joseph, Riley, Noah and Kassandra; a sister Catherine (Anthony) Concra; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Friday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8, at the Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, South Main St., Pine Plains.

Funeral Services are Saturday, 10:30 AM, at the Funeral Home followed by the interment in Stanford Cemetery.
