Scott D. Summers

Scott D. Summers, 51 of John St. in Millerton, NY died on Saturday April 26, 2014 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.

He was born on September 27, 1962 in Sharon, CT a son of Craig A. and Bonnie (Hoag) Summers of Millerton.

Scott was a graduate of Webutuck High School in 1980 and was a self employed painting contractor.

He liked all sports, particularly baseball, basketball and football. Scott enjoyed trips to Foxwoods Casino, cooking, comedy, playing cards and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his son Andre Summers of Millerton, parents Craig and Bonnie Summers of Millerton and his maternal grandmother, Katharine Hoag of Millerton with whom he resided.

He also leaves a sister in law, Liana Roberts of Copake and nieces and nephew, Courtney, Danelle and Kyle Summers.

He was pre deceased by his brother, Dean A. Summers in 2009.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 1, 2014 at 11 AM from the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22 in Copake, NY.

Friends are invited and may call on Wednesday April 30, 2014 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral

home.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Copake Cemetery.
