Sarah B. Leshner

Sarah B. Leshner, 93 of Copake Lake, NY and Delray Beach, FL passed away on Thursday August 4, 2011 at Fairview Commons in Gt. Barrington, MA.

She was born on November 2, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Samuel and Ida Barishnekoff.

Mrs. Leshner had been a local resident since 1969 spending the winters in Florida. Previous to moving to Copake Lake she resided in Bronx, NY with her late husband Morris Leshner who pre deceased her in 1998.

A retired teacher, Mrs. Leshner had been employed by the New York City Board of Education.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Leshner of Nanuet, NY and Mark Leshner of Croton on Hudson, NY along with three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday August 7, 2011 at 10 AM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home in Copake, NY with the Rev. Daniel Fried officiating.

Interment will follow in Beth David Cemetery, Elmont NY.
