Sandra N. Arnholter, 79 of Hillsdale, NY passed away on Friday April 28, 2017 at Fairview Hospital in Gt. Barrington, MA.

She was born on September 14, 1937 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of Richard T. and Edna (Barto) Niemann.

Sandra was a graduate of Roeliff Jansen High School and continued her education in becoming a registered nurse after attending the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Brooklyn, NY.

From 1963 - 2009 she was employed by Fairview Hospital as an operating room nurse and later as a recovery room nurse.

She was a member of the Hillsdale Fire Company Auxiliary, the Cobbletones, the Hillsdale United Methodist Church Choir and served as a former trustee of the Hillsdale Rural Cemetery.

On December 20, 1958 in Hillsdale she married William F. Arnholter. He pre deceased her on April 4, 2003. She was also pre deceased by two sisters, Gloria Petith and Janet Niemann.

Sandra is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Bonnie and John Dawson, Betsy and Mark Edelman and Amy and Clint Baird all of Hillsdale, She also leaves her grandchildren and their spouses, James and Jackie Dawson, Brian and Anita Edelman, Micheal and G.G. Baird and Tanya and Buddy Woodard. Additionally 12 great grandchildren, Alexander Dawson, Chloe, Rhianna and Ryan Edelman, Lilian, Sadie, Aubrey, Logan and Callan Baird, Veronica, R.J. and Scarlette Woodard along with a niece Laurie Kipp and a nephew, Paul Petith.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 1, 2017 at 2 PM from the Hillsdale United Methodist Church.

Calling hours will be private.

Interment will be in the Hillsdale Rural Cemetery.
