He passed his knowledge on to his children and family.

Samuel is survived by his loving mother, Frederica Wright and his brothers, Nate and his wife Rachel and Christopher and his wife Dana. His children, Samuel C. Wright IV, Victoria Wright and Maddox Dallas - Wright. His four grandchildren, whom he adored spending time with, Annabelle, Noah, Sophie & Chloe, and his companion Shari Franks. In addition to nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was predeceased by his father, and his brother Leroy Wright.

A celebration of Sam’s life will be held on May 17, 2025 at Frederica’s home at time to be determined and will be announced. Donations in his memory may be made to the Philmont Food Pantry or a local food pantry of one’s choice. Sam believed that these were vital in our local community.
