Rosemary A. Robertson

Rosemary A. Robertson passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19th, 2014 in Stanfordville, NY.

She was born in the Bronx on June 16th, 1942 to William T. and Rose A. (Griffin) Holland.

She graduated from ST. Barnabus High School and attended nursing school at ST. Claires; both in NYC.

She worked for over 40 years as the Office Manager at the dental offices of Dr's Kleese and Hayhurst, DDS, in Amenia, NY.

She loved being by the water whether it be on Sandy Pond, the beaches of Lake Ontario, or the gulf beaches of Sarasota County, Florida.

She was active with the Stanford Fire Company and past President of the Ladies Auxiliary.

On September 1st, 1961 she married Donald S. Robertson in Bangall, NY. He survives at home.

In addition to her loving husband; she is survived by her daughters, Eileen M. Robertson of Fishkill, Susan J. Robertson and her husband Keith Ryan of Stanfordville and Elizaville, and her son Donald S. Robertson, Jr.and his wife Aimee Cabral Robertson, and the loves of her life; her grandchildren, Samuel Scott and Amelia Renee Robertson of Southington, CT; three sisters; Barbara Menti of Red Hook, Kathryn Flato of Punta Gorda, Florida, Regina Benvi and her husband Michael, of Pleasant Valley; a brother William T. Holland III and his wife Patricia of Poughkeepsie; and a brother in law Ronald "Skip" McPhilliamy, of Glennview, Illinois; many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; and her lifelong friend, Judy Brennan of Stanfordville.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her twin sister Patricia A. McPhilliamy, her nephew James "dink" McPhilliamy and her son in law Cedric F. Rivera.

There are no calling hours.

A celebration of her life to follow at the family's convenience.

Memorial donations are requested for the Stanford Rescue Squad and Stanford Ladies Auxiliary of Stanfordville, NY.
