Rose E. Godfrey

Rose E. Godfrey, 87 of Ancram, NY and formerly of Pawling, NY passed away on Sunday December 21, 2014 at her residence.

She was born on August 21, 1927 in Poughkeepsie, NY daughter of the late Allan F. and Rose (Cary) Tartter.

A housewife, Mrs. Godfrey had been a local resident since 1998.

On February 9, 1946 in Poughkeepsie she married James Godfrey Sr. who survives her at home in Ancram.

Also surviving are her children, Kathleen Yeno of Dover Plains, NY; James Godfrey Jr. of Walden, NY and Allan F. Godfrey of Santa Clarita, CA. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday December 26, 2014 at 6:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Route 22 in Millerton, NY.

There are no calling hours.
