Ronald A. Dwy

Lake Katrine - Ronald A. Dwy, 80, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017, at his home in Lake Katrine.

Mr. Dwy was a former lifelong resident of Ancram and had worked for the Ancram Paper Mill.

Born November 5, 1936 in Ancram, he was the son of Vernon and Florence (Tanner) Dwy.

On April 28, 1963 he married Joan (Pitcher) Dwy, Mrs. Dwy passed away June 3, 2015.

Mr. Dwy is survived by a daughter, Susan Mercado Meyer and her husband Glenn of Kingston, NY; a son, Gary Mercado of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren, Lisa Mercado, Lori Mercado, Kelly Mercado, Evan Mercado, Amethyst Meyer and Chad Roy; and five great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Lee C. Mercado on January 6, 2007; and a brother Harold Dwy.

There are no calling hours.

Funeral service and burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to Hospice of Ulster Co., 400 Aaron Court Kingston, NY 12401.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, Inc., Pine Plains.
