Roger G. Boice

Ancram, NY - Roger G. Boice, 81, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY.

He was born on November 30, 1928 in Hudson, NY the son of the late Guy and Edna (Louck) Boice.

Mr. Boice was owner and operator of Roger Boice Building Contractor. He also worked for fourteen year at Kimberly Clark in Ancram, NY.

He is a life member of the Ancram Fire Co. and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Amenia, NY.

On November 21, 1953 in Amenia, NY he married Mary Faith (Pitcher) Boice. She survives him at home.

In addition to his loving wife Mary Faith, survivors include three daughters, Sara Friess and her husband Mike of Castleton, NY; Mary Ann Braig and her husband Tom of Hastings On Hudson, NY; Faith Worthen of Fairbanks, AK; two sons, Michael Boice of Ancram, NY; Patrick Boice and his wife Alice of Ancram, NY; a sister, Marjorie Boothby of Ancram, NY; a brother, John Boice of Millerton, NY; eleven grandchildren, Melissa, Michelle, Mike, Ally, Tommy John, Lindsay, Tim, Taylor, Pat, Nolan, Sarah. He also has several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 5 to 7 pm on Monday, April 5, at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home 8063 Rte 22 Copake, NY 12516.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Tuesday, from Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church Copake Falls, NY with Fr. Joseph Falletta officiating.

Interment will follow in New St. Bridget's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the Ancram Fire Company PO Box 8 Ancram, NY 12502.
