Robert Dale Rothvoss Jr.

Robert Dale Rothvoss Jr., 62, of Ancramdale, passed away unexpectedly February 16, 2024. He was born December 7, 1961 in Rhinebeck, to the late Robert D Rothvoss Sr and Linda (Waldorf) Rothvoss. Some might question if he was born in the barn because he spent his entire life farming. He loved his cows and the lands that were Rothdale Farm. He also enjoyed feeding the birds, and had beautiful flower gardens. Farming was in his blood.

Robert loved his family and absolutely adored his grandchildren especially Lucy & Thomas. He also enjoyed going on walks with his family around the farm. A kind soul that enjoyed teasing folks with a good joke. He was an avid sportsman that enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and of course hunting bears from the back porch. He was also an Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Orioles fan.

Robert is survived by his three children, Robert Rothvoss III, Karly Maye Rothvoss (Eric) and Brody Thomas Rothvoss. Six grandchildren, in addition to his brother Ricky Rothvoss (Melissa), his sisters, Kelly Zempko (Gary), Mindy Rothvoss (Kevin). In addition to several cousins.
