Robert Monahan

Robert Monahan of Taconic Shores, Copake, NY passed away last week rather suddenly at his home.

Robert had recently lost his beloved wife of 56 years Joan in April. An active member of the Young at Hearters Club, Robert leaves behind his children Carole and Robert.

Robert helped sculpt the New York City Skyline. He was a proud member of the Metal Lathers Union Local 46 for many decades. He worked on the World Trade Center Towers for several years. He also helped build the Timex Building, The Palace Hotel, The McGraw Hill Building, as well as the Metropolitan Opera House and many more.

A brief memorial service will be held on Wednesday December 5, 2012 from 1 - 3 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22 in Copake, NY. Private interment services will be at the convenience of the family.
