Robert W. Harrison

Pine Plain - Robert W. Harrison, Sr., a former resident of Pine Plains, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 85. br>
He was born on June 28, 1926 in Stanfordville, NY, the son of the late Paul Harrison Sr. and Ethel (Hotaling) Harrison. br>
Mr. Harrison owned and operated an excavating company. br>
He was an avid bowler. br>
Robert is survived by his seven children, Robert W. Harrison, Jr. of Orlando, FL; Sylvia Howard and her husband Joseph of Red Hook, NY; Dennis Harrison of Torrington, CT; Richard Harrison and his wife Laurie of Grantville, PA; Cindy Bowen and her Husband Randy of Millbrook, NY; Rosiela Bove of Putnam Valley, NY; and Antoinette Shook of Waverly, TN; seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. br>
He was predeceased by his wife, Marie Harrison, in 1974, and by several brothers and sisters. br>
There are no calling hours. br>
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. br>
