Pine Plains, NY - Robert Pulver Bird, 77, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at home.

He was born on August 3, 1938 in Stanfordville, NY the son of Walthrop P. and Jenny (Remsberger) Bird.

Bob was a carpenter and dairy farmer.

Survivors include a son, Robert O. Bird Sr. of Pine Plains, NY; three daughters, Jill Wyant of Red Hook, NY; Julie Marecki of Tennessee; Joan Winnie of Rhinebeck, NY; a brother, Don Bird of Stanfordville, NY; a sister, Marge Weaver of Gallatin, NY; and six grandsons, Robert O. Bird Jr., Dylan Bird, Shawn and Darren Wyant, Danny Winnie, Eddie Mareckie and a granddaughter, Jessica Cocchi; a companion, Cathy Bates of Pine Plains, NY

He was predeceased by a son, Jack Bird in 1998.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 pm on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 South Main St. Pine Plains, NY 12567.

Funeral service and burial will be at the convenience of family.
