Rita Langone

Langone, Rita (nee: Battipede), 92, died peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Ellen Memorial Nursing Home in Honesdale, PA. Mrs. Langone was formerly of Ancramdale, NY before moving to Lake Ariel, PA in 2005. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas Langone.

Beloved Mother of Richard Langone & his wife Cathy of Lake Ariel, PA, Thomas Langone & his wife MaryAnn of Hawley, PA., and Roseann Kemp & her husband Michael of Red Hook, NY. Loving Grandmother to Richie Langone Jr. & his wife Tracy of Hicksville, NY, Tommy Langone & his wife Chrissy of Farmingdale, NY, Melissa Latsch & her husband Chris of Hawley, PA, and Justin Kemp of Red Hook, NY. Loving great-grandmother to Christopher, Victoria, Richie & Joseph.

Rita was a retired dress maker & she enjoyed arts & crafts. She loved to cook and made many specialties that the entire family enjoyed. She loved spending time with her family and preserving the many veggies from her husband's garden. Rita loved her later years living in PA, and loved the coffee club & bingo at Ellen Memorial. We appreciate all the good people at Ellen Memorial who helped to make her feel at home.

The funeral will be on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 South Main Street, Pine Plains, NY. (518) 398-7777 from 11:00am to 12:30pm and the interment immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains, NY.
