Raymond V. Camburn Jr.

Raymond V. Camburn, 85, of Stanfordville, passed away on May 28, 2023 at Sharon Hospital. He was born in Stanfordville on January 4, 1938 to the late Raymond V. Camburn Sr. and Ethel Thorpe Camburn. Raymond graduated from high school before serving in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He then worked for New York State Wassaic School before retiring after 35 plus years. Raymond was a long time member of the VFW and was proud to support them. He enjoyed woodcarving, hunting, farming and anything adventurous.

Raymond is survived by his son, Raymond M. Camburn and his wife Desiree, his two grandsons, Wyatt & Owen. In addition to his three sisters; Faye and her husband Douglas Pezze, Audrey Bushnell and Joan Morey. Also, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Raymond was predeceased by his sisters Mary Hall and Ethel Camburn. Two nephews, Duane and Doug Pezze.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 3:00 PM in Stanford Cemetery, Route 82 Stanfordville, New York.
