Gallatin, NY - Ralph H. Kilmer Sr., 87, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY.
He was born on September 22, 1927 in Gallatin, NY the son of Richard and Anna (Simmons) Kilmer Sr.
Ralph was a rewinder operator at Kimberly Clark Paper Mill in Ancram, NY.
He honorably served his Country in the United States Army from 1945-1947.
On February 21, 1952 in Gallatin, NY he married Lorraine (Sulkey) Kilmer. She survives him at home.
In addition to his loving wife of sixty two years, survivors include a son, Ralph H. Kilmer Jr. and his wife Sandy of Ancramdale, NY; two daughters, Rosemarie Kilmer of Gallatin, NY; Bonnie Lilley and her husband Tommy of Ancram, NY; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter; three sisters, Linda Parditka, Shirley Rivenburgh, Myrtle Jennings, nine brothers, Robert, Richard Jr., Arthur, Roger, Raymond, Harry, Stanley.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Dawn Marie Kilmer on February 15, 2002. He was also predeceased by a sister, Mildred Hagadone, and three brothers, Donald, Chucky and Kenny.
Memorial calling hours are 3 to 6 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 South Main St. Pine Plains.
Funeral service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
