Gallatin, NY - Philip LaManna, 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, in Albany, NY.
He was born on January 23, 1941 in White Plains, NY the son of Thomas and Mildred (Russo) LaManna.
Phil was a mechanic, and owner and operator of Millerton Auto.
On April 10, 1961 in Baltimore, MD he married Louise (Gasparrini) LaManna. She survives him at home.
In addition to his loving wife of fifty three years, survivors include three daughters, Tracy Moody of Churchtown, NY; Sherry Morganelli of Hauppauge, NY; Dawn Kipp of Copake, NY; three sons, Michael LaManna of Bohemia, NY; Philip T. LaManna of Smithtown, NY; Christopher LaManna of North Babylon, NY; a sister, Jenny Curry of Lindenhurst, NY; fifteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; several in-laws and friends.
Calling hours are 4 to 7 pm on Saturday, October 4, and 1 to 5 pm on Sunday, October 5, at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 South Main St. Pine Plains.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Monday, October 6, at the funeral home, with Deacon Jackie Jefferson officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery/ Pine Plains, NY.
