Paula D. Wadman

Paula D. Wadman, 66 of Copake Lake, NY passed away on Thursday August 16, 2012 after a short illness at Community Hospice in Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY.

She was born on June 13, 1946 in Hudson, a daughter of the late Carl and Virginia M. (Wishon) Hornung.

Paula was a graduate of the class of 1964 at Hudson High School and was later employed at the former pocketbook factory and also at Charter Supply until devoting her life to her two children.

She enjoyed her pets, puzzle books and spending time outdoors.

Paula was pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas W. Wadman in 2010.

Survivors include her daughter, Carla Wadman of Copake Lake and her son and daughter in law, William R. and Jennifer Wadman of Port Ludlow, WA. She also leaves her grandaughters, Makayla R. and Addison R., both of Port Ludlow along with her sisters, Carol Ublacker of Kinderhook, NY, Rhea Cotsonas of Stuyvesant, NY and June Nelson of Myerstown, PA. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited and may call on Monday August 20, 2012 from 11:00 - 1:00 at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22 in Copake, NY.

Funeral services will follow at 1PM with the Rev. Mark Frickey, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Ancram, NY officiating.

Interment will be in the West Copake Cemetery.
