Palan P. Miller

Palan P. Miller, 88 of Ancram, NY passed away on Thursday August 5, 2010 at Fairview Hospital in Gt. Barrington, MA.

He was born on October 13, 1921 in Gt. Barrington the son of the late Palan P. and Hattie (Brandt) miller.

A lifelong local resident, Mr. Miller had been employed by the former A.C. Bristol Lumber Co. in Copake and later for the Kimberly - Clark Corp. in Ancram.

Mr. Miller had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed tending to his garden and flowers. An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved all animals including chickens, horses and his various hunting dogs that he owned over the years.

Survivors include his daughter Linda Jennings and son Lance Miller, both of Hillsdale. He also leaves four grandchildren, Lorinda Alexander of Hudson, Richard Jennings of Copake, Sarah Miller of Hudson and Nicole Miller of Copake along with three great grandchildren, Renee, Richard and Thomas.

A private funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 10, 2010 at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Copake NY.

Interment will follow in the Copake Cemetery.
