Olga Prokopchuk

Olga Prokopchuk, 87 of Copake, NY passed away suddenly on Monday July 27, 2015 at the Albany Medical Center.

She was born on February 15, 1928 in New York City to William and Catherine Stepan.

Olga was a longtime member of the Roe Jan Young at Hearters and enjoyed her many dear friends from that social group. She also enjoyed the lunches at the Columbia County Nutrition Center in Copake. Her connection with the Roe Jan Library and the many volunteers who would deliver books and tapes to Olga, was a great enjoyment to her.

She was dearly loved by all she met and the many dear friends she had.

Olga was pre deceased by her husband Michael in 1994.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, James and Kathy Prokopchuk along with her many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited and may call on Friday July 31, 2015 from 12:00 - 12:45 at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Route 22 in Copake, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated also on Friday at 1 PM from the Parish of Our Lady of Hope, 8074 State Route 22 in Copake Falls, NY. The Re. George Brennan will officiate.

Interment will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery.
