Ola Flournoy
September 17, 1925 — November 5, 2017
Ola F. Wiencke Flournoy, 92 formerly of Craryville, NY passed away on Sunday November 5, 2017 at the Whittier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Ghent, NY.
She was born on September 17, 1925 in Monroeville, AL the daughter of Lawrence and Minnie ( Craft) Faulk.
Ola worked throughout the years at numerous local mills and factories including the Hudson Pocketbook Factory.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting and making garments for her family, often without patterns.
Ola also enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with family.
She was pre deceased by her husband, Leroy Wiencke Sr.
Survivors include her five children, Cynthia Scott and Sara Lownsbury of Rensselaer, NY;
Fredericka Wright of Claverack, NY; Leroy Wiencke Jr. and wife Angela of Craryville and Barbara Scutt and husband Dell also of Craryville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great gt. grandchildren.
A Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
