Myrtle A. Burdick

Elizaville- Myrtle A. Burdick, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2015 at Livingston Hills Nursing Center in Livingston, NY.

Born on April 14, 1930, she was the daughter of Lee and Ida (Proper) Wheeler.

On September 9, 1949 in Ancram, NY, she married Lewis O. Burdick and together they raised their three children. Lewis predeceased Myrtle in 2006.

Myrtle is survived by a daughter, Gail Jones of Elizaville; sons Gary E. Burdick of Elizaville and Glen Burdick of Catskill; brothers Gordon Wheeler of Wyoming and Raymond Wheeler of Kansas; a sister Beulah Burns of PA; as well as 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Myrtle was predeceased by brothers Howard, Peter and Albert Wheeler and a sister Wanda Loeber.

There are no calling hours.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Elizaville Fire Company, Elizaville, NY 12523.
