Mildred Albright

Mildred "Millie" Albright, 89 of Pumpkin Hollow Road in Hillsdale, NY passed away on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at the Pine Haven Home in Philmont, NY.

She was born on June 28, 1924 in Craryville, NY to Elsworth and Millie (Brusie) Rogers.

On February 11, 1940 in Philmont she married Harold L. Albright. He pre deceased her in 1992.

Millie and Harold were the longtime operators of the family business, Albright's Catering Service. They also worked together as Copake Lake Estate Caretakers and Landscapers. Millie ran the former Ship and Shore Store at Copake Lake and was also a rural mail carrier in the town of Hillsdale, NY.

Millie had many great friends over the years and cherished the time spent with them. Her dogs at home were her pride and joy and she enjoyed talking about them to all who would listen. Above all, Millie loved her family very much and they in turn returned that love.

She leaves her fifteen children, Carol Clough of Philmont, Helen Clough of Craryville, Robert Albright of Copake, Arnold Albright of Hillsdale, Suzanne Coleman of Hillsdale, Berniece Tripp of Hillsdale, Elizabeth Yole of Florida, Linda Aragi of Craryville, Joyce Concra of Craryville, Leonard Albright of Hudson, Timothy Albright of Hillsdale, Roger Albright of Craryville, Kathy Dierkes of Livingston, Harold Albright of Craryville and Kevin Albright of Hillsdale. She was a grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother to several. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Millie was pre deceased by two sisters and eight brothers, Mardel Scutt and Marguerite Bethman, Milford Rogers, Lewis Rogers, Casey Rogers, Eddie Rogers, Joe Rogers, Clifford Link, Curtis Rogers and Lee Rogers.

At her request, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in the West Copake Cemetery.
