Michael Glen Bowen

Pine Plains, NY - Michael Glen Bowen, 53, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.

He was born in the Bronx, on August 13, 1957 the son of the late Alvin and Martha (Simons) Bowen Sr.

Mr. Bowen worked from home as an adjustment specialist for United Healthcare. He also was a member of the Millerton Gun Club.

On March 6, 1978 in Amenia, NY he married Mary (Teeter) Bowen. She survives him at home.

In addition to his loving wife survivors include a son, Michael Robert Bowen of Pine Plains, NY. three sisters, Adrienne Sellite of Sebring, FL; Priscilla Vicole of Nanuet, NY; Carol Schwanke of Dover Plains, NY; two brothers, Russell Ross of Boca Raton, FL; John Bowen of Yorktown Heights, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Robert F. Jett, a sister, Barbara Muncey and a brother, Alvin Bowen Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, June 4, at the Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society 95 Schwenk Drive Kingston, NY 12401.
