Mary A. Hiserodt

Mary A. (Farley) Hiserodt, 89 of East Ancram Rd in Ancramdale, NY passed unexpectedly on Saturday April 10, 2010 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 27, 1920 in Sharon a daughter of James and Susan (Jones) Farley.

Along with her late husband Kenneth who died in 1982 they owned and operated the Prarie Farm in Ancramdale until 1974. Until recently, Mary was also a family care provider for the Capital District Psychiatric Center for 35 years.

Survivors include her daughter Joan Hiserodt of Ancramdale; her son and daughter in law, Wayne and Maureen Hiserodt of Ancramdale and her grandchildren, Christopher Hiserodt of Craryville, NY and Amy Jourdin of Ancramdale. Additionally she leaves her great grandchildren, Victoria, Alexandra and Noah along with a sister Suzanne Churton of Pine Plains and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Kenneth, Mary was pre - deceased by a sister Helen Willig and a brother, James Farley.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 13, 2010 at 11 AM at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 S. Main St. in Pine Plains with the Rev. Leif Erickson of the Ancramdale Prsbyterian Church officiating.

Friends are invited and may call on Monday April 12, 2010 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains.
