Martina A. Gammone

Martina A. Gammone, 62, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of June 30, 2022, at home with her loving husband by her side. She was born on November 6, 1959, in Heiligenhaus, Germany to Johannus and Anita Gortler. Tina came to visit America and on that same visit met Henry and his family. After returning home to Germany, plans were made for her to return to the United States and start a new life here. In 1988 the two were married and enjoyed the next 34 years together.

Tina had a natural talent for decorating and an artistic eye. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays and made sure that every decoration was placed just perfectly. A talented cook, and an even more impressive baker, her cakes were that of a professional baker. She also enjoyed knitting, painting and other crafts.

Martina is survived by her devoted husband, Henry J. Gammone in addition to her brother Markus Gortler.

In keeping with Tina’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
