Marjorie Butler

Marjorie Butler, 89, of Copake passed away on August 27, 2024 at Pine Haven Nursing Home in Philmont. She was born in Ancram on September 8, 1934. She was the daughter of Wilmer and Inez (Boyles) McCauley. Marjorie graduated from RoeJan School and was a life long area resident. She worked at Novapac in Philmont for a number of years before retiring. She loved spending time with her family and always wanted the best for them. She also enjoyed listening to country music and will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Gail Butler, of Florida. Her grandchildren, Michelle (Jody) Koller and Matthew Koller. In addition to nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Irving Butler in 1976. Additionally by six sisters and five brothers.

A time for sharing memories and offering condolences will be on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, 8063 Route 22, Copake, New York. Where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM by Rev. Karin Squires. Interment will follow in Copake Cemetery.
