Tivoli - Marjorie E. Bowen, 68, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY.
She was born on March 25, 1943 in Sharon, CT, the daughter of Lester Chapman Sr. and Dorothy Way Chapman.
Marjorie is survived by her three sons, Thomas Bowen of Tivoli, NY; Randy Bowen and his wife Cindy of Millbrook, NY; and Todd Bowen and his wife Melissa of Pine Plains, NY; two daughters, Elizabeth Ferares of Tivoli, NY; and Laurie Harrison and her husband Rick of Grantville, PA; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister, Kate Millius; two brothers, Robert Chapman; and Ralph Chapman, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Ackerman and Margaret Wheeler, and a brother, Lester Chapman, Jr.
An hour of visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 10 to 11 am at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 7749 S. Main St., Pine Plains. Funeral services will begin at 11 am, with Rev. William Mayhew officiating.
Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains.
