Mariba A. Lasher

Rhinebeck, NY - Mariba A. Lasher, 71, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Northern Duchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY.

She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on November 7, 1939 the daughter of Pete and Bertha Deyo.

Mrs. Lasher was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Christine Lasher and her husband, Herb of Clinton Corners, NY; three sons, James Swartz III and his wife Lisa of Ghent, NY; John Swartz and his wife Robin of Pine Plains, NY; Jeff Swartz and his wife Alicia of Pine Plains, NY; a companion, Raymond Beneway of Rhinebeck, NY; two brothers, Wayne Deyo of Schenectady, NY; Mark Deyo of Cobleskill, NY; six grandchildren, Joseph, Brandon, Ashley, Jeffrey, Ashley, Brittany and one great grandchild, Calvin.

She was predeceased by two husbands, James Edward Swartz Jr. in 1981, Seymour Lasher in 1984 and a grandson, Shawn Rundall in 2004.

Calling hours are 6 to 8 pm on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 South Main St. Pine Plains.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, April 16, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Pine Plains, NY.
