Margaret C. Sherman

Pine Plains, NY - Margaret C. "Jimmie" Sherman, 74, died on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Sharon Healthcare Center in Sharon, CT.

She was born on June 6, 1935 in Millerton, NY the daughter of the late Milton and Bertha (Kepler) Miller.

On January 16, 1952 in Pine Plains, NY she married Roy Sherman. He survives at home.

In addition to her loving husband Roy, survivors include a daughter Sherry and her husband Allen Shelton Sr. of Ancramdale, NY; two sons, Roy and his wife Sandy Sherman of Millerton, NY; Milton Sherman of Pine Plains, NY; a sister Violet Boyles of Ancramdale, NY; a brother Melvin Miller of Ancram, NY; three grandchildren, Allen Shelton Jr., Tammy Morales, Ryan Sherman and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Marion Boyles.

Calling hours are 2 to 5 pm on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home 8063 Route 22, Copake, NY.

Funeral services are 4:30 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
