Louis J. Giacomo

Louis J. Giacomo, 87 of Pine Plains, NY passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at his residence.

He was born on March 11, 1929 in Yonkers, NY a son of James and Caroline (Campana) Giacomo.

A veteran of the Korean War, Louis was a self employed building contractor.

In 1951 in Yonkers he married Josephine M. (Porcello) Giacomo. She predeceased him in 2012.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Annie and Vincent Manzi of Pine Plains and a daughter, Caroline Giacomo of Wappingers Falls, NY. He also leaves two grandchildren, Annette Decker of Pine Plains and Vincent Manzi IV of Ancram, NY; four great grandchildren, Madison, Giana and Josephine Manzi along with Julia Decker. Additionally he leaves a brother Michael Giacomo of Florida.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are with the Peck and Peck Funeral Home of Pine Plains, NY.
