Lois Jean Goodermote Wishon Burger

Lois Jean Goodermote Wishon Burger, 81 of Hillsdale and a former longtime resident of Philmont passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2010 at her residence.

She was born on March 26, 1928 in Foxburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Earl and Beatrice (Downing) Goodermote.

An avid bingo player, Mrs. Burger had been employed as a printer with Charter Supply in Philmont.

Survivors include her children, Charles William Wishon Jr. and wife Joan of Connecticut; Beverly DiMuro and husband John of East Chatham; John Wishon and wife Melissa of Ghent and Debora Grau and husband Kevin of Hillsdale. Also survived by her grandchildren, Jill Wishon, Jennifer Studin, Kari DiMuro, Cassandra Shores, Christopher Wishon and Kevin Charles Grau. She also leaves her three great grandchildren, seven siblings and several nieces and nephews.

Lois was pre - deceased by her husbands, Charles William Wishon Sr. and Kenneth Burger along with her daughter, Linda Lee Wishon and two grandchildren, Aimee and Brian Grau.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday February 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, Route 22 in Copake.

Friends are invited and may call also on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM

Interment will be in Ghent Union Cemetery.
