Landon G. Delease

Landon G. DeLease, 17, of Hillsdale, passed away suddenly on October 17, 2023 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born on March 2, 2006 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and was raised by his mother Jessica Dean. Landon was currently a Junior at Taconic Hills Central School District and also attended Queststar for Auto Mechanics. Trucks, hunting, and farming were his passions. He searched for over a year to find his 1997 Ford F250 diesel that he brought home and got it running with his own two hands. He took up welding as a hobby and would tinker with any motor. He was also an avid hunter that also enjoyed finding sheds and just being outdoors. Landon was a country boy through and through. He was also an excellent corn hole player and wasn’t too terrible at basketball in his cowboy boots.

Landon is survived by mother Jessica Dean and his father Roger DeLease. His brother Logan DeLease and sister Grace Roska. His maternal grandparents; Sharon Cleveland, Clifford Dean & Sam Dawson Jr. His paternal grandmother Lillian DeLease. In addition to aunts, uncles and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandfather Roger DeLease Sr.

A time for sharing memories and offering condolences will be held on Sunday October 22, 2023 from 12:00 to 4:00pm at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, 8063 Route 22, Copake, New York. Parking will be available at Our Lady of Hope Parish if needed. Interment will take place privately.
