Josephine J. Palumbo

Josephine J. Palumbo, 95 of Taconic Shores in Copake, NY passed away on Saturday April 30, 2011 at the Baptist Home in Rhinebeck, NY.

She was born on December 1, 1915 in Poughkeepsie, NY the daughter of the late John and Mary (Skiba) Kowalski.

A homemaker, Mrs. Palumbo moved to Copake 30 years ago from Poughkeepsie.

At one time, she along with her late husband Anthony, were members of the Poughkeepsie Elks Club along with the Roe Jan area Young at Hearters.

Survivors include her sons, Anthony Palumbo of Millerton, NY and James Palumbo of Las Vegas, NV; her daughters, Patricia Palumbo of Mt. Vernon, NY and Mary Ann Palumbo of Somers, NY. She also leaves a grandaughter, Stevie Klein of Colorado.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Arrangements are with the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Copake, NY.
