Joan Monahan of Taconic Shores, Copake, NY passed away on Monday April 23, 2012 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
Joan was the beloved wife of Robert Monahan for 56 years and devoted mother to Carole and Robert.
Joan was a longtime resident of Taconic Shores where she was an active member of the Young at Hearters Club and a member of the Prayers and Squares, The Prayer Quilt Ministry.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday May 5, 2012 from 2 - 4 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22 in Copake, NY.
Private interment services will be at the convenience of the family.
