Joan Harrington

Hellertown, PA - Joan Harrington, 91, previously from Copake, and Brooklyn, NY passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Saucon Valley Manor.

She was born in Minersville, PA on September 12, 1920 the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Danis) Sauson.

Mrs. Harrington was a Supervisor for American Express. She retired on October 1, 1982.

Survivors include her loving granddaughter, WendyAnn Hornak and husband Robert Hornak, her great grandson Ethan Robert Hornak and her daughter-in-law, Carol Ann Harrington.She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Harrington in 1987 and a son, Dennis Harrington in 1992.

Calling hours are 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 8063 Route 22, Copake, NY 12516.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Wednesday, May 2, at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 8074 Route 22, Copake Falls, NY 12517 with Rev. George Brennan, officiating.

Interment will follow in New St. Bridget's Cemetery.
