Jessica Lynn Sherman

Jessica Lynn Sherman, 26 of Hoyle Road, Craryville, NY died on Tuesday February 25, 2014.

She was born in Sharon CT June 3, 1987 to Susan Baker and Michael Sherman

A lifelong area resident, Jessica was currently employed at Barnwell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Valatie and had previously assisted her father with the family business Sherman Auto in Stuyvesant.

Jessica enjoyed music, movies, art and pop trivia. She was a gifted and creative writer and artist but most of all she was a loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend.

She is predeceased by her Grandparents Jane Baker Monteleone and Nino Monteleone, Ralph and Hilda (Hoysradt) Sherman and an Uncle John Sherman.

Surviving besides her parents are Step Mother Jennifer Sherman of Craryville, Great Grandmother Dora Reilly Seaver, siblings Michael Sherman of Craryville, Kassandra Sherman of Craryville, Private Kevin Hawver of Fort Bliss TX, Kora Foshay of Hudson and Marlie Foshay of Philmont, Aunts and Uncles; Sandie McCarthy of Sharon, CT, Barbara Kelly of Copake, Raymond Sherman of Dover Plains, Steven Sherman of Copake, Ralph Sherman of Millerton, Kathy Sherman of Elizaville, Priscilla Murphy of Ancram. She also leaves a niece and nephew Shyri Higgs and Ian Batista of Hudson, as well as several cousins.

A service will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 2 PM from the Parish of Our Lady of Hope, Route 22 in Copake Falls, NY. The Rev. George Brennan, pastor will officiate. Friends are welcome to gather at the church before the services starting at 1PM to call on the family. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made directly to Peck and Peck Funeral Home PO Box D, Copake, NY 12516 to assist the family in covering the costs of her passing.
