Jeffrey H. Darling

Jeffrey H. Darling, 63 passed peacefully on Tuesday July 19, 2016 at Fairview Hospital in Gt. Barrington, MA.

He was born on February 6, 1953 in Mount Kisco, NY a son of the late Albert J. "Chuck" and Marjorie (Kemp) Darling.

He had been employed for over 32 years as the deputy highway superintendent for the Town of Copake until his retirement in 2008. He also enjoyed working on the family farm.

An outdoorsman, Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman and was known to enjoy spending time on Copake Lake.

Survivors include his wife Melissa Darling; a son Jeffrey Darling II and his siblings, David Darling, Mark Darling, Matthew Darling, Nancy Spano and Tony Darling.

Along with his parents he was pre deceased by a brother, Jimmy Darling.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 6, 2016 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the Craryville Rod and Gun Club, County Route 11 in Craryville.
